Your Choice

Slip down into the belly where darkness beckons.
Give yourself to the vast Unknown.
Let life carve your form from its Nothingness
And throw it back into Itself.

Today I awoke and my heart was still beating.
This is a good day.
There will be a day the heart grows weary.
That, too, will be a good day.

It does not matter what the body's karma may be,
Or what the mind may do with experience.
We either wake up from the dream
Or keep trying to control it. Your choice!

Or is it?
